About ICOSPA
The International Council of Sheet Metal Presswork Associations (ICOSPA) is the prime platform for the cross-national exchange of the sheet metal engineering industry. Over the past 50 years, the member associations of ICOSPA have represented the voices of more than 12,300 companies of six nations throughout the world including the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Japan, China and the United States. Employing over 600,000, the majority of our member companies are small and medium-sized enterprises that supply assemblies, subassemblies and parts to the automotive, machinery, electrical and electronic industries, as well as many other industries.
About the ICOSPA Congress
Every three years, ICOSPA holds its largest event, the International Congress, that is hosted and organized on a rotating basis by one of the member associations. Typical attendance includes 250 to 350 delegates and spouses from more than 10 countries.
The primary focus of the ICOSPA International Congress is to establish a greater understanding of international business issues and practices, technology development, safety and management practices affecting the metalforming industry.
As a proud member of ICOSPA, PMA is excited to host the 2027 ICOSPA International Congress at the Intercontinental Chicago Marriott Mile in Chicago, IL.
