PMAEF Micro- Grant Reminder
Are you interested in hosting a Manufacturing Day (MFG Day) event but not sure where to start — or how to fund it?
Good news! The PMA Educational Foundation (PMAEF) is offering up to $15,000 in micro-grants to help PMA member companies create impactful events and initiatives that ignite interest in manufacturing and metalforming careers.
Grants range from $500 to $1,000 — perfect for turning your ideas into action.
What Can You Do with Grant Money?
We’re looking for creative, student-focused ideas that connect young people with the world of manufacturing. Past recipients have used micro-grants to:
- Host facility tours for students, educators and community leaders
- Purchase materials for hands-on demonstrations
- Cover transportation costs for school field trips
- Promote skilled trades programs and apprenticeships
- Offer workshops in machining, robotics or engineering
- Build partnerships with local schools and technical programs
There’s no single formula — just a clear goal: inspire the next generation of manufacturing talent.
Deadline to Apply: August 29, 2025
